- Natural fibres - such ascotton, linen, silk, wool, rami blends
- Synthetics - such asRayon, nylon, acetate
- Fibre Blends - Where the majority of the fibre is dyeable, will tint evenly but will not achieve full colour.
- Use Double the quantity of dye for dark or bright colors.
- For maximum coverage, use the washing machine technique
